Challenge yourself. Don't just walk through life. Stop and enjoy life. Make decisions that will give you the best life ever.
Life is so unpredictable. If you could just adjust with each unpredictable moment in life, you could sail through life with ease. You need to develop new ways of making changes to your routine, and in your life, that no longer serve you for where you want to go.
Getting out of the box!
Feeling stuck and you can’t get out?
Getting unstuck starts with taking the limits off and taking a step forward into an unfamiliar place where difficulties may occur and situations happen. Through no fault of your own things happen and things arise to stop you or hold you back.
To stay stuck in your thinking and in your actions for some of us is a comfortable place to be. It’s often very difficult to leave that comfortable place where we are, even though we know full-well that something more amazing is out there waiting for us.
Are you placing limits on yourself?
Sometimes we’re in the box because of the limits we place on ourselves and honestly, they no longer need to be there. That wall or that limit may have served you at one time, but now it needs to be thrown away.
When we feel as though there’s no hope or no other way to make things better you take away your power to make a difference, to change what may not be an impossible situation.
Escaping the box
The longer you wait to get out of the box the more opportunities you miss. Your energy levels decrease along with your focus and you find yourself giving up. But the power is in you, in your words, and how you see the situation that put you in the box.
I’m not going to tell you that getting out of the box happens overnight, but it can happen with focus, an open mind, and help from someone you trust... you can walk out of that situation.
Acknowledge and honor the box that kept you safe and now step out. I’m sure what you need and what you’re looking for has been waiting for you. In order to grasp it you have to get out of the box!
Nelson Mandela says, “A winner is a dreamer who never gives up.”
Timing is everything
You can do all things
Timing can determine the course of our lives. Timing can be painful, but it also allows everything to fall into place the way it's supposed to be.
We have to learn to embrace the fact that everything happens for a reason. Certain people and things come into our lives to serve a purpose and for a certain time.
Timing may determine a lot of things, but it doesn't decide how we react to it when it kicks us for not taking it seriously enough to show up, or not getting things done on time, making for difficult times.
Failing to arrive on time
There are certain times of day that allow you to be your best and produce significantly better results, regardless of what you’re doing. When you’re trying to make sense of certain events in life and how to proceed there's a time limit placed on it to act now or later.
You even think about something that could've been done, could have been yours, if only the timing was right, and you were in the right place at the right time.
Timing is everything
Just know, keeping a positive mind will lead to an extraordinary outcome especially when time allows you to appreciate loving and playful memories.
It’s all about having a good intuition for when the time is ripe for making a move. Also setting time aside for your business is important as making money is also important but having personal time for you and the things you care about is even more important, so take time out for relaxation and a little fun.
Steve Jobs says, “Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else’s life. Use you time for what is important for you.”
One step to the goal
Most of us would like to change for the better. We want to improve different areas of our lives and the only way to make it happen is goal setting.
There are goals that we want to reach that we have only dreamed about and goals we didn't think we were capable of.
Because of our thirst for instant gratification, goals are never set, and we never reach the destination we’re headed to.
Set achievable goals
Be specific about what you want to achieve and how you intend on making that happen. If it's money, how much do you need, how long will it take you and what steps will it take to make it happen?
Steps to your goal
For every goal you need to record everything about the goal. Is there a meaning for this goal, can you name it and will you start right away?
Put a time on it, a start date and end date. Keep the goals small so that they become obtainable, stay focused and check in on your goals often to stay committed.
Walt Disney said, “The best way to get started is to quit talking and begin to do it.”
Just a little bit more can give you an extraordinary life.
I mentioned earlier that one of the things that keep us from having an extraordinary life is we are comfortable with where we already are, and we are not willing to leave that comfortable place.
We have to want what we want so bad that we are willing to walk away from old habits and disbelief that we have grown to love.
Our life tends to run on auto-pilot and we spend time completely numb to what is happening around us. We go from point A to point B and don’t remember how we did it, just running on autopilot and we don't look for anything new.
Learn and do something new sooner rather than later
When you do something new you might find yourself loving it so much that you do it over and over again, asking yourself why didn't I do this sooner?!
How about bringing out the kid in you, setting the adult down (just for a little while) and seeing just what that kid in you needs and wants.
Once you push past the adult you and your comfort zone you’ll feel braver and more confident. It's all you need for that extraordinary life.
Who’s living the extraordinary life that you can learn from?
Can you seize the moment and seize the day along with every opportunity? Feel and experience a full cup of hope allowing you to have that extraordinary life. Say “yes” and make it happen every time “No” shows up for you.
The best way to find out how people live extraordinary lives is to spend a little time with them and see what they’re doing differently from you. How do they talk, how do they spend their time and where are they hanging out?
The next time you find yourself feeling stuck in an ordinary life, hang out with inspirational people and open yourself up to a new way of thinking. You may surprise yourself and do something different.
Tony Robbins says, “A life of meaning, A life of joy, happiness, love, success, fulfillment, passion and live life on your own terms that's living an extraordinary life.”
Twist and turns in life
Changes in life
Whenever we make changes there is always a possibility that you will find challenges on your way to success. We take on a lot of different experiences in life to prepare ourselves for the ultimate life path we will take.
A difficult turn of events can help us view life from a new perspective where we learn what is really important to us. It's the fresh and new experiences we take in that give us a clear view of the destination we are headed for.
Do you know you deserve a break from life?
Whenever you try a new path as you move through the different stages in life there is no doubt that you will run into unfamiliar places and people.
The problem is that everything is new and you’re on a journey of exploration and it’s great that there are no boring moments to share only moments of preparing yourself for the next stage in life, wondering where it will lead, and getting there so you can tell your next story.
Life’s twists and turns
With every experience we have, it should be a chance to learn new ideas on how to navigate the paths that lay ahead. I believe there no big challenges, just small solutions that lead to great ideas to solve our challenges and our struggles.
We have a habit of rehearsing our challenges over and over. What we don't realize is that challenges don’t lie in the situation, in the unfamiliar places we find ourselves in, but in fact in our perception of the challenge.
Sometimes you must step away from the challenge in order to see it clearly. I don't mean run away, just take a step back and challenge the challenge with a clear and different outlook.
Harvey Mackey says, “Life is too short to wake up with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about those who don’t, believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance take it. If it changes your life let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.”
I will take a step back, view the challenge, view the situation and then make my move. Even though I don't know the outcome and I may not have the influence to change what may happen, I won’t run or be fearful of what lies ahead.
I know that when you consciously connect with life it becomes very exciting, interesting in fact. It’s when you think you have learned how to navigate around the twists and turns you find that another twist has been added that turns you around in a direction you did not intend to go in.
It is not always a bad thing. Sometimes the twists and turns can take you to some amazing places to meet amazing people.
So enjoy where the twist and turns take you, just keep a close watch and don't miss any opportunities because you're too focused on where you're going.
I’m learning to open my ears and hear what's being said in my surroundings, being honest about where I am and what I need to do in order to move forward and move into a positive place, so I can think and remove everything that does not work for me. In that mindset, I say “Yes” to myself and “Yes” to my needs.
Barbara Corcoran says, “My best success came on the heels of failures.”
Dorothy May Ross says, “Nothing is obtainable until you believe in it, then you have to see it, then you can have it for yourself.”
